Most Traders Are Solving the Wrong Problem

Traders spend years asking questions like:

  • “Which timeframe is best?”

  • “Is RSI better than MACD?”

  • “Should I use a 21 or 20-period EMA?”

But these are the wrong questions. They're tactical. Surface-level. They don’t touch the core of consistent performance.

Ask Better Questions

  1. "What market behavior am I actually trying to exploit?"Most traders can’t answer this. They follow indicators without understanding what they measure.

  2. "How do I define risk beyond stop-losses?"True risk is system failure, not just drawdown. What if the system stops working mid-year?

  3. "What edge do I truly have?"If your setup has no statistical or structural edge, you're just gambling.

The Takeaway

The best traders solve for robustness, not just profitability. They zoom out, clarify the problem, then design systems that target it precisely.

If you’re stuck tweaking tactics, maybe it’s time to rebuild from a better foundation. We can help with that.
